    My friend knows this family. It's just terribly sad - a father lost to cancer with 2 small kids and a baby on the way. Applebees (normally not my favorite restaurant by any means) is participating in a fundraiser tomorrow, so if you're going out to eat, please consider going to one of these restaurants.

    My best to the family. This is a heart-wrenching story, but I am happy that both mom and baby and healthy and doing well.
