  • "I'm still thinking"

Question...does anyone know how to change the "I'm still thinking" under the avatar in the Profile page? I've noticed that some people have other words there, and I can't find any place to insert anything else. Thanks!

Matt, you are so funny -- that made me laugh.

I asked Kris about this before and I don't think that we are able to change it without her. I am sure once her semester is over she will let us know what we need to do when we are "done thinking".

(And Kris, if I am wrong, forgive me and enlighten us all! )

          I know, I know!!!

It's because when the forum changed to this location, it would put a title under our names, like newbie--also it put stars under some people's names--actually I think it still does. Anyhow, she was trying to think of new categories for people and so she temporarily put "I'm still thinking" where the category belongs.

I agree with Matt - it's kind of like a badge of survival (ie "Look what I've done AND I'm still thinking!!!).

              I'm still thinking

If you have a nickname for yourself that you would like to add there instead, please, please tell me The I'm still thinking thing is only there because I couldn't come up with an intereting nickname for people who had posted more than 50 posts or so....

              So..any ideas for 50-100
              100-200
              200-300

              or just some personal ones?

It's kinda cheesy but you could rank us using med student for the newbies, interns, residents, fellows, etc....but that is kinda really cheesy.

Or we could play on people's fears! In other words rank posters by the five stages of your medical spouse's career!

Rank going from least posts to most:

                        -bright and perky
                        -sleepy but optimistic
                        -jaded and cranky
                        -beaten down and apathetic
                        -older and wiser

It has a bit of truth to it - you have to admit!

                          That would make me older
& wiser and canky and beaten down.
