    Train Derailed

    Just on the news, in DC a train derailed underground on the red line near Farragut North.

    ETA: They haven't gotten to the people yet, but they think that there may not be any serious injuries, but it seems that is a guess.

    You know, it seems to happen when it snows or when it's 100 degrees. I wonder if it has something to do with the tracks shrinking or expanding.

    The first and worst Metro train crash in DC happened the day of the Air Florida crash. (snowy/icy day) I actually dated the son of one of the Air Florida crash survivors.

      They are claiming that the crash has nothing to do with the weather, but your thoughts seem very valid. I wonder how much they have looked into that. Everyone is off and still reports show now one was seriously injured.
