  • Surgery Update

Hi everyone! (I forgot to ask for a hall pass the past two weeks -- oops): it seems like I missed a lot, and am currently combing through the older posts to get up to date on everything that has happened.

Just a few quick things to celebrate -- first, I finally got a job! Hooray! Tutoring after hours, SAT/ACT prep and grammar/comp/AP courses. I am very excited to get this ball rolling, and actually put some of my education to use
Secondly, the ankle reconstruction surgery is happening this week (I got a phone call while out of state, and had to mash back to CA) and it looks like I'm in good hands.

I'm very thankful for what's happening in my life right now: thank you for those who have been thinking/praying for me!
    I missed you guys

7 days later, and the cast is finally on: like the 80's child I am, I chose "Glow in the Dark." 6 weeks from now, I'll start PT and the cast will be off. Hooray!
