  • Attention Muggles

I am geeking out right now. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is opening June 18th. I am so excited to go. How many of you can I expect to share a butterbeer with this fall and summer when you check out Harry Potter? I plan on getting season passes.

Terribly jealous. After our disastrous trip to Orlando earlier this year, this is truly the only thing that will get me back there. We'll probably go in a year or so when we know all the kinks have been worked out.

Wow. You can practically live at Hogwarts. That's my dream.

My friend is attending seminary school at Columbia (Union) and says it's like living at Hogwarts. When I was was recently in NYC he showed me around, and the exterior and some of the interior hallways really do live up to the billing.

Do they admit houseelves? I can't wait.

Sadly, we are forgoing a trip for APSA in Orlando with DH in May because of the new home and Hawaii conference in June. We just had to stop the insane cash hemorraging. We were so close....

I know we are going to FL sometime in 2011, I wish we could go sooner. Hopefully it will include a trip to Universal, I haven't been in 15 years.

My best friend, her husband and stepsons really love HP. She came up with a great idea for getting the kids down there. When the oldest one turns 11, he will receive a letter (made by her) that says he was accepted into Hogwarts, just like in the books. And that he will have to go to Hogwarts, aka Orlando, to begin his training to be a wizard. How cool is that?

I was in Oxford a couple weeks ago and saw some of the places that actually played Hogwarts in the movies. Pretty cool. (Pictures from that trip are going up on Facebook really soon, I hope. Sorting through them has taken me forever.)

I would love to check out this park (and I imagine DH would too), but I really dislike Orlando. Unclear when we'll get around to it.

I totally and completely want to go, but it may have to wait a few years! My hubby and I can't get time off together now until at least May 2011!
