I agree - inside is the way to go. I think there's a nice play area at North Park, too, right? So the kids who come can have a break from all the chattering women...

NorthPark just has the duck pond, but that amuses my 2 year old. There's always the Galleria with it's awesome play area, puppet theatre, ice skating, etc. Willowbend has a nice play area too -- and a Strausburg Children store where we can pick out fru fru dresses for Michele's princess. And in Frisco you will find my home away from home -- Stonebriar.

I'm not a mall junkie. Nope. Not at all. Not me.

Not just any mall, either. Northpark still blows my mind with all the high-end goodness it holds. It's really a dangerous place. I like the Galleria, but parking and getting there can be a big PITA. Veronica, can you believe I've actually never been inside Stonebriar Center (though I've hit IKEA up many times)--I'm sensing a mall date in our future...it's okay...we don't actually have to buy anything

And I've always wanted to go to Blue Mesa...but J doesn't like Mexican...and I'm pretty sure he is gone that entire weekend for MS1 orientation. This is working out beautifully

I've already offered this to medpedspouse, but I'm willing to pickup/dropoff and chauffeur anyone around for the day who is flying into Love Field. It really is close.

I love Stonebriar! It'd be a bit of a drive, but that's by far my favorite mall.

So I messed up with plane tickets (the price rocketed before I booked) and may not be able to make it. We will see..

I am keeping a watch. If they go back down or something comes out I will book it.

I'm definitely a no- I decided to take a week and fly in before Antique's Roadshow- so booked the tickets to BWI on the 15th- and today my dad got an email that there's a mini family reunion on the 14th in Pittsburgh for the long lost cousins (that I helped reconnect) and the only living grandchild of my great-great-grandparents will be there (my grandfather's second cousin in other words) and she's 90-something. So, now I'm thinking of changing my tickets to fly w/ the dude to the 'burgh, have a crazy day of relative meeting (having never laid eyes on any of them) and head back to DC w/ my parents that Sunday.

I did it! The flights went back down the the original price. (Why they went up for a couple weeks and then back down, I have no clue, but I feel bad for the poor fools that booked in that time) Anyway, I am booked and headed to Dallas Aug 11-17th. Now I just have to convince my grandmother to give me the car on Saturday or find a way to meet up with you all!

Yay! Glad you'll be able to make it! If you need a ride, let me know. I'll be driving there, so I can come pick you up wherever.

We've been doing school all summer -- just on an abbreviated schedule (m-w with 1 week off a month). I know what you mean about having them happier and quieter!
