Yeah, it's supposed to get up to 90 degrees today, so I'm really hoping for AC in time for naps, or we'll be driving around for a couple hours... We're going to have to replace all the refrigerator stuff, but I'm hoping the freezer stuff is okay. This stinks!Laurie

Power's back on! I took the kids to Chick Fil A for breakfast and play time for DS, then the power was back on when we got home, but DD was asleep, so I went through a car wash and drove around a little. When she woke up, I went to Braums to restock essential groceries, and now we're home enjoying the AC! It was an exciting night and morning...
I don't know how well you can see it, but here's the pole that was knocked down by the storm. It's one of those metal ones, and it pretty much snapped right at the bottom.

My mom almost had flooding. My BIL set up a pump on her back lanai and that averted the disaster. The rest of us are fine, but my sister has friends who were flooded.Mom of 3, VeterinarianComment
