    I drove through it last night to Houston. It was crazy
    Married to a newly minted Pediatric Rad, momma to a sweet girl and a bunch of (mostly) cute boy monsters.

      My friend and storm chasing parter just had to abandon the SUV on I-40 in okc to take Shelter. These r groups of people who do not fear storms. It must be terrible.

          I just got a text from one of them. It is terrible.

          A storm that is about 30-45 min away from us just for tornado warned with more sheer than I am comfortable with and high tops ( marissa I know u know what this means). I am having dh clear out the room

            They broke through prime time programming on NBC to talk about the weather in the OKC area. The storm chaser car being used by a TWC group got tossed a couple hundred yards with them inside.

            Stay safe B and all those in the warned areas!

              They are just idiots. The goal is to see and track the tornado, not to be IN it. Bizarre trend in the past few years. I blame reality TV.

                  Seems like they made a stupid mistake. Yeah, if I had a goal regarding a tornado, it would be to see it from like 20 miles away. Not from inside it.

                    I just posted in another thread but just heard from a neighbor that the tornado touched down 7 blocks from our house as we sat huddled in our neighbors basement last night.
                    Wife to Hand Surgeon just out of training, mom to two lovely kittys and little boy, O, born in Sept 08.

                          It was made public today that my friends passed away while storm chasing in okc. I fully suspect a rough day ahead
