  • I think I linked directly to the Day 2 outlook, which doesn't help you when Day 2 is now today

Go to weather.gov and search for your town directly--the hazardous weather outlook is good to read along with any short term forecasts or watches that are posted later.

It looks like the moderate area has shifted north slightly, which is good for you!

    • Kris, it looks like it is stuff that is supposed to hit late today, moderate risk up by you. Low to moderate where I am depending on the storm track, which they are predicting will head north.

According to Weather.com, it is out over Fargo right now. Looks like it will be a doozy somewhere between us.

      • It's weird that my weatherbug makes no mention of it. I got confused by the 2 day out thing. The skies are starting to turn after a wicked hot (yay) day, so we'll see. Zoe is hoping for a tornado so she can see a funnel cloud. Lol

        • I've been asking dh all day if there's a weather warning in Fargo. He says no. That it's un-gawdly hot...but no hail, wind, rain, tornadoes..

Did he look outside? Because this is what the current map shows.

I am in the bottom right corner, so I don't think I will get much.

              • Our threat has been downgraded. We're likely on the southern end of the weather. We may still get sheer winds/thunderstorm, but we're not directly in the path anymore as far as I know. ETA: according to accuweather, the rain will start in 1 minute. LOL

                    • Ok here. Watching the streaming reports. So far the tornados are all on the south side. Hearing the siren go off over and over again is scary.

                      • I loved OKC, but this time of year was always so scary. Did you end up getting a storm shelter put in? Stay safe!!

                          • Yes we have an underground shelter. Tonight has been scary. I think the siren has gone off over 10 times. Something like 8 inches of rain on the south side of town. The Tiger park in Tuttle was hit by a tornado and Tigers are on the loose. I really hate these storms. O and I watched my phone streaming coverage for two hours.

That being said, it is apparently still really iffy on how bad it is going to be.
