Ugh. People here are in full panic mode. I hate that foreboding feeling. So far it's not till after 6 that the storms/tornados will occur here. We have our shelter ready and are getting takeout for dinner a bit early. Be safe everyone!

Unfortunately we have A's piano recital at 7:15pm, hah! DH's car will be staying home in the garage and we'll be taking mine just in case. Hopefully we get home before it gets bad, luckily the recital is close.

Ugh, I think my parents are currently in the dark orange area (they are at my grandma's old house, east of Dallas.) BTW, I thought I heard that the NWS was going to stop shouting.

Apparently I slept through the worst of it. My mom called asking if E woke... guess not because I didn't. We're pretty lucky that E thinks thunder is music. Right when we were trying to put him to bed fireworks started just down the street. I took him outside to watch and he loved it. We couldn't stay out long because there was lightning. E asked for more "boom boom" this morning. Lol
