  • What is your guilty pleasure?

So...what is one thing that you do or buy that is all about you and that you indulge in to pamper yourself?

For me, it is Crabtree and Evelyn. I'm sure I could get the same lotions/soaps etc at the dollar store, but there is something for me about the shopping experience. I like going there, browsing the selections, smelling the smells..and buying something pretty smelling for myself.

Massages. I hate taking time for them but need them - otherwise I walk around/sleep in pain. Still, it feels like such a luxury - I hate saying "I can't do x or y , I have a massage then" - seems lke such a dawkters wife thing to say.
Finally - we are finished with training! Hello real world!!

Chocolate milkshakes. Homemade. I've been doing hours and hours of yardwork every weekend and I end up craving a chocolate milkshake for at least the last few hours of the work day. It's what gets me through.

Sonic drinks. I stop there way too often... My all-time favorite is a Dr. Pepper Blended Float (Dr. Pepper blended with soft-serve ice cream), but I got a Caramel Java Chiller (espresso and caramel blended with soft serve) the other day and it was amazing!

Books. It is completely embarrassing. i have no self-control in bookstores. My DH won't even go in to store with me.

These days. . . hot showers, leaving BabyK home with daddy when I go to the grocery, iMSN. . . I hate night float.

ETA, and tonight watching BabyK play with his floor mat gym for about 40 minutes. My heart was just swelling as I watched him reaching, grabbing, rolling over, discovering that the music starts when he hits the mat on a certain spot. It was heaven.

Leaving the boys with DH all day while I walk around the mall and try on dresses and not feeling guilty. I was at the mall for three hours on Saturday. I'll also leave the boys with daddy and go to Aveda for a pedi.

Oooh, Project Runway is a good one. The winner of this most recent season lives in my hometown. I've never met him, but we have several mutual friends.

Fabric stores. Rows and rows of pretty colors and textures. I'm like a kid in a candy store. I can go nuts.

Starbucks. I alway berate myself about not needing a $4 fancy coffee to perk me up, but many mornings my car just seems to drive itself there. What can you do? I'm the latte factor poster child.

Yodels. In a convenience store, I'll look around to make sure there's nobody I know, and buy a three-pack with coffee.
