    Gulf Oil Spill

    I just heard on CNN that they are saying that the containment device is not working like they thought. I was really hoping it would. Such a horrible situation.

    I know... I was really hoping that would work. It's so hard to think about all the negative ramifications of this spill... ugh. I hope they can at least minimize damage to the coastline, but I don't have a lot of optimism.

        I heard that they are going to try and use a smaller device, but 200,000 gallons are still gushing, and it could take 3-4 days.

          Has anyone else heard that they're going to start using pet and human hair to soak up some of the oil. Great if it works, I guess, but EWWWW.

            Hello Locks of Love...seriously they are based in FL and receive ungodly amts of hair daily.
            I just saw one of their propaganda documentaries on HBO recently.

                Some pet grooming places here are offering reduced prices to drum up more pet hair!
