www.finestationery.com The source for the greatest baby shower invitation ever. (it was stupidly expensive but I didn't care because it was for the impending niece/nephew [ultimately turned out to be a nephew])
I wish I had time for etsy, a friend of my sister's was going to design them and today told me she didn't have time to. I need to mail them by next weekend so I think I'm going to have to do a more commercial site to get them in time.

IF you see the little paper baby shoes, those were the ones I picked for my SILs shower. "Shoes" was the theme of the shower. They have other inexpensive invitations but the shoes was a no-brainer for my SIL.
Being that I am now officially in the paper and invitation business, I can definitely help you out with this one! Fine stationery is a great site, they pretty much carry every brand but they do over charge for printing. One of my favorite vendors is Take note cards. Their baby shower and announcement cards have been selling like crazy, they also turnaround really quickly. www.takenotecards.com
Well I will never order from finestationery.com ever again! This is RIDICULOUS! I ordered the invitations on the 17th, paid extra for overnight shipping and paid extra for a proof because I couldn't get the type to look the way I wanted on the website. The proof process adds 3-5 business days so I figured I'd have the invitations by today at the latest. I HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN A PROOF! I realized very early in the morning on the 23rd that I had put the wrong address for the host, she recently moved. So I sent customer service an e-mail they said no problem we'll send it to our vendor and you should still have your proof in the regular window. I e-mailed them AGAIN this morning they assured me I'd have the proof today - they are now closed and I still have NO PROOF! At this point I'm stuck, I don't have time to order anything else I'm just going to have to wait this out and I'm pissed. I had to resort to sending a Save the Date e-mail last Friday because I feel terrible and if no one comes I'm going to really be pissed. Oh and the icing on the cake is that they've already charged my credit card for the full amount and when the rep got back to me today and told me I'd have the proof today he said he had informed his supervisor of the situation - so what? that doesn't seem to have gotten me anywhere. GGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oooh. I would be mad, too. In the end, you may be able to get them for free, or at least a very reduced price b/c of all the hassle, but I totally get that at this point it's more about getting the invites done and out ASAP.
That sounds like such a headache!
I went with an online dealer for our wedding invites (DIY), and was incredibly worried about the very experience you're describing.
Good luck!
