  • reading posts question

On other message boards I have used, once a message has been read, it disappears and only new messages are visable. Is there a way here to make the old messages go away and only see the newest ones?? I tried clicking on "mark read" and also using the thing at the bottom that says post messages within the last 2 weeks.

It seems that every time I log on there are tons of old messages on here...many of which I've already seen. I imagine these concerns must be addressed somewhere on this site and I just missed it or skimmed over it.

Oh well, thanks in advance for your help.

    Laurel,

On the top right hand side of the boards when you log in across from where it says medical spouse forum index and chat are a few lines...one of them says "view only posts since your last visit"...Other than that...I usually just ignore old posts...the newest posts always 'light up'. Do they do that for you?

I actually like having the old posts available. With my hectic life it is nice to be able to read back because I have trouble remembering all of the posts, etc.
