  • My first orthopedic surgery!

Today I assisted on a real surgery! It was a delayed union femoral fracture in a puppy. We put some bone graft on the site and a plate and some screws and an intramedullary pin. I got to make the skin incision, drill in a screw and close the fascial layer....then I got to use the stapler to staple the skin closed! It was very awesome!!!
