  • Amazing Soda Experience

DH and I went to Pei Wei tonight (2 entrees for $10 night!) and they had a Coke Freestyle machine. I have never been so excited about a soda fountain in my life. Not only did it have Coke Zero, it had Cherry Coke Zero and Vanilla Coke Zero. And every type of Fanta you could want. Dasani flavored water. Basically, you could mix any flavor with any soft drink. Orange coke is surprisingly good! Basically, I am over-caffeinated right now.

Plus, apparently there is some humanitarian effort behind the whole thing (potable water)

And I was thinking of giving up soft drinks...Coke 1 Me 0

That's awesome! I love Pei Wei. At the one near us they brought back mango chicken for a limited time. It's great - bet it would go well with a cherry coke! I'll have to see if ours has the machine too.

Very cool! I'm soooo cravy Pei Wei! Do you know if it's only at the Dallas one? I may have to make the drive next week to try it!

No idea Veronica, though apparently they just started moving them into the Dallas market. The one we went to was at Knox & 75

Ooo, does it have mezzo mix? That's my favorite.

            Orange coke was similar?

Is that like the thing they have at Disneyworld? There's a shop where you can buy Coke paraphernalia and they give out free samples of Coke flavors from around the world. Mezzo mix was 100% awesome. Wish I could find it here.

LOL, we ALWAYS make it over to that shop when we're at Epcot!

On a side note, we too went to Pei Wei tonight and nope our Pei Wei Coke machine still has the typical selections unfortunately.

It's a smaller/cheaper version of PF Changs. Same company and recipes, smaller locations and lower prices. More of a lunch spot rather than dinner.

Maybe we need to have lunch or dinner there during the Dallas meet-up!

I'm in...it's close to our "digs"
Blue Mesa still sounds good too, though
