What boards is he studying for? Is he able to drive up to be with you?

I know how stressful all those non-stress tests are. I hated those. It sucks to not have your hubby there, but it will pass. Your diet sounds horrid. Are you going to be able to eat a regular diet after the baby is born?

He postponed his test by a week. I was not even a little happy but I guess I have reached acceptance. If he is not here he will have to live with that. The non fat diet is mostly disgusting and boring. They are hoping everything goes back to normal after baby gets here. I sure hope so too. The non stress tests are annoying and frequent, and will continue until baby girl arrives. I am ready to not be pregnant anymore and to eat a big old fat juicy piece of fried chicken made by my momma!!!

That just isn't right. When S came along, E was interview for residencies. He arrived home on a Wednesday (I had my best friend staying with me because I wasn't comfortable being alone with a 6 year old in the event that the baby arrived that early) and I went into labor less than 24 hours later. He was there and was able to catch!

Hopefully the timing will all work out for you.

My mom had gallblader issues when she was pregnant with my brother. She spent most of the pregnancy in bed and weighed 110 after she delivered (several weeks late but he was her biggest baby and easiest delivery). She had her gallbladder removed shortly after he was born. It was over 30 years ago so it was a much more invasive surgery then.

Hang in there. I will be praying that your hubby makes it for the delivery.

I hate to say it but if you have gallbladder issues, you are always going to have gallbladder issues. The severity will likely come and go but until you have it removed it will cause issues. The fried chicken you are dying to have after the pregnancy might still cause you more pain than is worth any food. Mine still flares up every once in a while but can be controlled with diet currently. I am sure it will have to come out at some point.

                      Best of luck with everything.
