  • Pumpkin Spice Lattes are here!

    http://blogs.starbucks.com/blogs/cus...ice-latte.aspx

Pumpkin Spice Lattes are back!!!!! This means it is officially fall to me, even if the high is in the 90s.

Random fact--did you know there was a canned pumpkin shortage last year that has lasted into this year? Cant find the stuff anywhere!

Oh my goodness!!! I am really excited about this, I too note the change in the seasons by Barista trends... I get really excited when the eggnog lattes come back. Weird about the pumpkin shortage. I actually made my own last year and I think some it may be lurking in the back of my freezer...

Yay!!! I didn't get one last year, so I'll have to make up for it this year! I remember the pumpkin shortage. Wal-Mart had a couple of cans, so I was able to make a pie and some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, but the cans were hidden on the bottom shelf in the baking aisle instead of out on a display pallet like most years.

Last year I made a pumpkin pie from scratch (do-able, but much messier). I can't wait until A is old enough to clear out the pumpkin for me.

This is great news! Especially since tomorrow I am taking DD to her 9 month checkup and lo and behold there is a drive thru starbucks nearby! I actually reward myself for pedi appts (and Sam's club trips, which I hate) by treating myself to an overpriced but delicious beverage, so you know I'll be there looking for my pumpkin latte tomorrow!

I had two within 12 hours of hearing that they had arrived. We used to have a dog named pumpkin too

I need to climb up in the attic and bring down my box of fall decor. It is finally cool here and I can now think about pumpkin lattes. This weekend has been beautiful - mid fifties in the morning and high seventies at most.
Finally - we are finished with training! Hello real world!!

I caved and went to Starbucks to purchase one. Fall is my favorite season, although we don't seem to really experience it here like I remember it as a child.
Storms, fall carnivals and festivals, etc. Can't wait to move and get my season back!

By the way, the Latte was delicious.
