  • Crab apples

When are they ripe? We have a tree in our back yard and my grandmother would like to make jelly with them. Any ideas on when they are ready ?

They should be pretty soon if they're not already, given that you're in the south. Call the local Ag extension service and ask. They'll know.

You can do something with crabapples??? I'll have to google some recipes. They are falling all over the ground right now.
