    Yes,again.--The-withdrawal-from-posting-won.
    I'm-currently-waiting-for-the-repair.I-try-to-only-post-from-work-but-I-haven't-been-in-the-office-since-last-week.
    I'm-deciding-on-just-getting-a-new-laptop-and-maybe-going-with-a-mac.
    Any-suggestions??

      Hilarious! I was wondering what was going on!
      I love my iMac. I also have an old 13" MacBook that has crashed two hard drives. No experience with the new MacBooks, though.

          Get a mac That way, when crap like this happens, you just hop on over to your local Apple Store (well, after making an appointment 2 days out--damn iPhones made the wait go up) and they fix you right up. Well, if you have an AppleCare plan. But I've used it enough to know it really is wonderful and useful.

              Yeah, I thought you were trying to say that the advice to never check bags during interview season was SO.RIDICULOUSLY.OBVIOUS. The hyphens seem to belong and I think you've gotten good at typing that way. Don't get too used to it. Get a Mac or a Lenovo.

                Hehe...our IT dept. deemed Lenovos "not sexy enough" for the laptop refresh. Is sexy one of your criteria?

                  Maybe they're not sexy, but I love my Thinkpad almost as much as I love my Macbook. Almost.

                    I actually really love my new fujitsu tablet PC. We had to have PC's for work because all medical software seems to only run on PC including EMR, interfaces with the hopital and labs, PACS, and the hospital's PACS. Actually, the hospital's PACS system only runs on Windows XP! What a nightmare that has been. Chad is having to literally dust his old laptop and kill Windows 7 on it to install Windows XP on it.

                      Corporate computing will slowly drive you insane, I swear. All I want from IT right now is the latest version of flash... I think I'm never going to get it.
