  • What to Expect...

One of the the books has a recipe for a banana smoothie, I think it is the expecting one. Does anyone have a copy of the book who could look for me?

    Kris is it this recipe?

    Banana-Berry Smoothie
Frozen fruit makes this smoothie super-thick.
Sweet and filling, this is a meal in itself, yet it's brimming with nourishment for you and your baby.
    Ingredients

1 medium banana, frozen and sliced
    ½ cup frozen unsweetened raspberries
    1 cup vanilla yogurt
    ½ cup calcium-fortified orange juice
2 Tbsp wheat germ, if desired
    Instructions

Place all ingredients in blender or food processor and process until pureed. Pour into a tall glass and serve.
    Makes 1 tall glass.

Not from a recipe, but my MIL makes shakes w/banana, vanilla ice cream, and cardamom. HEAVEN. You could make that a smoothie by doing banana, yogurt, ice, and cardamom.
