  • more android help

I swear, I must be the biggest moron when it comes to my android phone. I've got an HTC Droid Eris, and I keep getting messages that my memory is full. I don't have a ton of pictures on it (and deleted a lot of them), nor do I have a ton of apps. I'm trying desperately to get rid of whatever is clogging it up.

At the moment I wish I were in Cleveland so I could show up at Sandy's door and hand her the phone. I'm sure she could fix it in 10 minutes.

    Suggestions?

I haven't seen that one before! I just googled it a little bit, and this was one suggestion:

Setting > Applications > Manage Applications and then sort by size (menu button). Then open each one and use the "clear cache" button.

    Worth a shot?

      that's what i've been doing ...

I did get rid of the message, but I fear it will come back sooner than later (this is my 2nd round with this issue).

You must have a lot more apps than I do!

What about text messages? Can you delete some of those?
