  • Happy Hanukkah!

On the first night of Hanukkah my true love said to me, "Im on call" Eh. we have parties both Fri and Sat night to celebrate and I get to be home with my parents for the last night, so three great nights out of 8 is fantastic in my book.

Anyway, I just want to wish those of you out there who are celebrating a happy Hanukkah.

Enjoy the holidays and the latkes. I so miss having my Jewish room-mate from college around. or, more accurately, Bubbie, her grandmother.

We have a family tradition of postponing Hannukah until my brothers and I can all be home. It started when I went to college. So, Hannukah will be late this year. Still lighting candles and opening presents with BabyK tonight though.

                Happy Hannukah!

DH & the kids are part Jewish, but except for matzo (matzah?) ball soup, all the traditions have been lost... so I'm always happy to read about the celebrations!

Happy Chanukah to all too! The inlaws are coming over on Saturday so they can teach little E and S how to make latkas. We are using the menorah the dh made as a kid in Hebrew school. I gave to say I love having multiple holidays to celebrate.

That is awesome! I need to call J's mom and see if she still has one of his! I think all my kiddie ones got nasty and thrown out.

Happy Chanukah! There are only about 15 Jews in the city we live in, so no one knows it's Chanukah, but we'll be lighting the candles!
