Say what?
Yep...a holiday contest.
Do you need a little extra Amazon cash? Of course you do! The holidays are right around the corner and ... every dollar counts.
We are running a contest from Dec. 7th-Dec 14th:
For every social group that you create, you get 3 points.
For every social group thread that you start there are 2 points.
If you answer a social group thread, you can earn 1 point.
I'm unable to get the point counter to work because of the weird issues we've had with our database. So ... in order to compete, you'll have to keep track in this thread.....honor system applies....as you post or earn points continue your tally.
At the end of the week, the user who has the top number of points will get a $50 gift card from Amazon.
The two users who have accumulated the second and third number of points with each get a $25 Amazon gift card.
Why?
The social groups are terribly underused. It has been my experience though that meeting each other locally is a great way to find connections and resources and build friendships.
Where are you getting the money from?
I just got a quarterly check from the book publication that covers exactly that amount. If I had gotten more money, I would have increased the awards.
I think this will be fun, so .... have at it ... and Happy Holidays!
Kris
