          That doesn't surprise me. I would imagine the bank would rather have some income flowing from the property than it sitting vacant and eating up $$ for taxes, upkeep and possible vandalism.

            I was doing some research before we talked with an lawyer I thought it wouldn't be possible, plus I read online that on average a foreclose costs the bank around $40,000.00! I am sooo impressed with how the lawyer can work his magic!!

              That is great news. At least it gives you time to find a new home. Will the bank let you out of the lease early? I can't imagine that they will be uber landlords. Not to say that they will neglect things, but if there is a middle of the night/weekend crisis will they take your call?

                I'd imagine they would hire a property manager to handle maitenance issues. This is great news! I hope it works out for you!
