We're having a party tonight, so I asked DH 2 days in advance to clean the bathroom (his recurring job) and clean up his "man cave" that is the living room before he went golfing today...

He kinda sorta did it (not really), but guess who found her Christmas present while cleaning the room I shouldn't have had to clean...

Hahaha! I've pretended not to have accidentally discovered a few presents in the past.

Don't leave us hanging. What did you get?

New bike shorts and a spibelt (running belt that holds an amazing number of things). Actually, I know there is more, but I am happy he got me exactly what I wanted

Haha...more irony. I opened the ottoman (it has drawers) to put something away and didn't look twice at the gifts because I thought it was his bike stuff. Then I saw something that looked like clothing and grabbed it because he has an AWFUL habit of stuffing dirty clothes in odd places...then I noticed it still had the tags on it

So his cleanliness habits burned him twice!

There is an upside, though. He responded to my bitchy text about me having to clean with "I'm really sorry. What can I do to make it up to you?"

              I'm floored. It's a Christmas miracle.

Unfortunately, I let him know I found the presents in the bitchy phone call that accompanied the bitchy text...I should be nicer.
