DH went back into the hospital at 2:30pm and is still there. A was crushed when she woke up from nap and he was gone. I'm hoping she'll sleep in this morning and I can stall the Santa experience as long as possible.

        Merry Christmas all!!
Hope your DH got home Cheri. Mine has today off for the first time since we started residency. I feel very lucky to have a house full of family, a tree full of goodies and that neither of us is spending the day in hospital!

What's your due date again, K?

I have a Christmas rave!!! Dd is sleeping in today (almost 9am). We do presents on Christmas Eve and we were all up later than usual, so her schedule's a bit thrown off.

The funny thing is that dh and I switch off on weekends--he gets up with dd one day, and I get up the other, so that we can each sleep in till late on one weekend day... Today is my day to get up with her, and I'm already up.

Thanks gang, he got home about 8:45am on Christmas morning and I had been able to hold the kids off because our stockings were in our lower level. So he did get to be here. Then he got NO pages the rest of the day, a few phone calls here and there but he didn't have to go in or ANYTHING! It was fabulous. He's in rounding now and will hopefully be home anytime.

So we had a very nice Christmas.
