  • Bike whoopsie...

Thought the cycling wives would enjoy this.

Guess who drove into a parking garage with her husband's (more-expensive-than-my-car-carbon-fiber) bike on top of the car Saturday night...

    That would be me

Luckily, the damage was minimal. It just hit the swinging clearance sign going into the garage and I stopped immediately. The bike rack has some minor damage we need to take care of and a dent needs to be popped out of the car so the rack can reattach correctly.

In my defense, he told me to go into the garage (I dropped him off outside a store and he told me to meet him at the entrance inside the garage)!

Overpriced bike is okay, unless the carbon fiber structure has been irreparably weakened...but we wont know that unless DH has an epic crash due to the damage...

Oops! I taught dh a good lesson once. He left his "more expensive than a car carbon-fiber" bike out on the lawn, while he was doing the running portion of a duathlon training. I hid it away to give him a slight heart attack.
