I have so much to do this week! So. Much! This morning, when I got home from taking the boys to school, I noticed some water on the floor in the kitchen near the center island. I mopped it up with a towel and then headed into the living room to pick up Zoe's toys. DH took her late to school AGAIN today and while she was waiting, she removed every. single. toy from two toy boxes and spread them out all over the floor.
Right. So the doorbell rang and Amanda opened the door. I got sidetracked by someone who once again was privy to the incredible mess that is my house. I sat on the floor cleaning up toys before making us a coffee. When I walked into the kitchen, I noticed more water. I thought that I had done a bad job of cleaning it up. By the time my guest left, I had forgotten about it. I was late to run a few errands and then meet Thomas. When I got home later, there was more water. I berated myself for forgetting about it and noted that it seemed to be more widespread than I remembered. I was talking to Kelly when I realized that as I sopped the water up from around the center island, more trickled out.
I checked the dishwasher. Nothing. It seemed to be coming from below the center island. I went downstairs and checked the guest room right below it and the entire light fixture is filled to the rim with water! Full!
I finally pulled out the fridge because I noticed ONE small trickle of water leading what I thought was TO the fridge. Oh. You know where this is going. The FRIDGE is leaking.....the new fridge. Un. Be. Lievable. Do not buy Sears people. No, no, no!
It was a slight trickle which is why we must not have noticed it for awhile.
