And Happy Mother's Day to be to you Jen!

No idea what my day will be, DH is on call this weekend and didn't come home last night. We had a great time at the Derby party even though he wasn't able to make it. To cap off my Mother's Day I'm going to a Sheryl Crow concert with a girlfriend though.

    Happy Mother's Day everyone!

Happy mom's day! DrK is on call so I am on my own with BabyK and The Bump -- I'm at that stage where strangers tell me that I'm huge.

          Happy Mother's Day!

So far DH has made all of the beds, dressed the kids (although he did put a diaper on backward, LMAO ... we've had a kid in diapers for the past 5+ years straight! ), and cleaned up the breakfast dishes. Later we're headed to dinner with my parents and ILs.

DH is off! We just got home from church and are now headed out to pick up my oldest at the airport....he has been on a field trip to D.C. since Wednesday. I am anxious to see him! We are meeting my mom and my two sisters (and brother-in-law) for brunch at 2.

Happy mothers day! Dh is on call today. He doesn't remember mothers day. I did mention it to him & he said its not moms day in Ireland (where his mom lives). I said, I'm a mom too. He said, yeah but your not my mom. Ummm, so i guess I get no recognition until O is old enough. Whatever. Enjoy your day everyone!

                          Happy Mother's Day!

We started the "think for yourself tour" and went to church w/ our friend Paul. Did not get struck by lightning and the minister managed to combine songs from South Pacific and neurophysiology in his sermon, so needless to say it was not boring. We went out to brunch which was ok- food was great, service was mediocre. (the Bellini was REALLY great) and I opened this: http://www.brahmin.com/content417541 w/ an actually nice sentiment on the card from my husband.

Now, I have to go to the Dollar General across the street to buy cat food.

                            Happy Mother's Day!!

DH has been spoiling me rotten. I didn't expect anything (because after all, I'm not his mom), but he surprised me with a whole bunch of goodies. We had brunch with my parents and his mom this morning. Now everyone is napping from the food coma. I am cruising iMSN while it's quiet because as soon as DD wakes up from her nap (she's 9 and doesn't nap anymore, but like I said, food coma!), it's homework time. I'm refusing to cook tonight so maybe we'll just order a pizza.

To all the moms, the moms-to-be, the pet moms, the ones who mentor others and invest in them, those who desire to be a mom, and those who have lost moms/have broken relationships with their moms -- I'm thinking of you today.

DH purchased for me a bathrobe made out of bamboo (so soft!) and a matching embroidered bamboo blanket for Mr. Bean. I love how soft they are.
