    Paging all tech gurus!

I finally joined the current century with my cell phone, which appears to have capabilities that I have never even heard of, one of which is DLAN.

I tried to set this up, but it looks like I don't have right driver on my laptop. Any idea of where I can find something like this?

I'm no help, I thought the title was just mispelled.

I figured it had to be a character in some alien movie or something.

Hmmmm. Is that some sort of Internet port? Yes, so helpful. I'd call the tech support w your phone. I'm guessing google didn't help much?

I would guess it's a way to use your phone as a hotspot. LAN is Local Area Network (if memory serves). I really have no idea, either. I'm with Jenn -- I assumed it was a misspelled title.

it is something about file sharing with other devices, like my computer. But I can't find the appropriate drivers for my pc laptop. I am pretty sure I will be going mac after this and partitioning the drive to have a windows portion for work.

Chad's a total geek. I'll ask him. BTW, I don't think you have to partition a drive in order to run Windows and IE on a Mac, but I do wish Athena ran on another platform besides Windows and Internet Explorer.

Are you having trouble getting DropBox on your phone?

No, I am a lazy ass and don't feel like digging out a cable to transfer files like pics and songs.

Although I did find a droid app for craigslist and am excited to be cleaning out the basement. We have sold over $660 worth of stuff in the last month and I have hardly made a dent in the amount of CRAP that they have! (However, my crap is sacrosanct, thankyouverymuch!)
