Wow Jenn. You are probably *just* the right person to be there for those kids, but I can only imagine how incredibly draining that was. Many hugs. I will raise a jelly glass in YOUR name tonight. xoxo

The third body was her brand new room-mate of about a week. The boyfriend was in Vermont. They'd broken up but it was not a bad break-up. I HOPE they were dead before the fires started but apparently it's going to be a while for that information to get out. Here's the most recent update. We're all heading over to the Circle School tonight. I'm wearing pink. She wouldn't want us in black or dark colors.

OMG, what a horrific tragedy! Never been a fan of capital punishment, but this guy should be hung by his balls. For their sake I hope they were dead before the fire was started. What an awful way to go.

Fuckers who mess with little kids have a VERY difficult time in the joint. Seems apropos in this case...

Yep and with good reason. Even if the asshole doesn't get the death penalty, he won't last long before he is shanked. Good riddance, although my preference, in this case, would be for some long, painful death.

I do not have adequate words to express how deeply her death disturbs me. I am so sorry.

Here's the story with the vigil:

                          http://www.ksat.com/news/29202259/detail.html

I'll keep everyone updated about the case as it moves forward. It was AWESOME to be there last night. The Unitarian Minister is married to one of the teachers (the infamous potty training goddess Miss Cindy) and he lead the service. Miss Barbie was the one who was interviewed. She's amazing in her own right.
