The gym issue is the childcare - its so expensive everywhere around here, I don't get it.

I am going to just post some things that I would like...What about classes? Tennis lessons, golf lessons, cooking class? Or a golf card so you can hit a bucket of balls once a week? Do you have an Aveda school near you? You can do a spa pedicure and get a new bottle of OPI polish for $15. What about a gift card to Starbucks or Panera, somewhere where you can go once a week for an hour, sit and sip a beverage, and just chill out - a date with yourself. A new pair of tennis shoes with nike plus. Do you have an iphone? If so you can sync it up and look at cool graphs about waks and runs. If you have an iphone, you can get itunes gift card, you can buy a couple of splurge apps, books, movies, etc. I always like kitchen gadgets and cute kitcheny things. How about a dutch oven or a new slow cooker? Cooks illustrated recommends the Tramontina dutch oven as a very good alternative to all-clad or le creuset. I just got their slow-cooker recommendation and like it so far. http://www.amazon.com/Crock-Pot-SCVT...0804372&sr=1-4. I could use a new pressure cooker too. What about a piece of art, or taking your favorite family photo or photo of the kids and having it blown up and put on canvas? (Don't know anything about this site or the quality, but http://www.easycanvasprints.com/). What about tickets to KU basketball games when you will be in town? How about some new KU gear or fun things, maybe jewelry or a house flag, a platter, or corn hole, or a new hoodie?Heidi, PA-S1 - wife to an orthopaedic surgeon, mom to Ryan, 17, and Alexia, 11.

Thanks guys, we've been very lucky with our photographers. The one who did our April Rochester pictures and the one that does all of the kids' pictures. The kids' will have their annual pics done over Thanksgiving and I'm always excited to see them.Wife to NSG out of training, mom to 2, 10 & 8, and a beagle with wings.
