Wonderful day! No ILS!! No stress. Hanging out all day in the house and cleaning out closets while DH is on call. I'll start cooking this afternoon and we will have a couple of friends come over for dinner this evening. Is it bad that I want to do cartwheels? YAY - for no family drama!! I am so done with that!!!

Happy T-Day to all of you! May it be just as drama free and a safe one too.
Finally - we are finished with training! Hello real world!!

Happy Turkey Day!!! My sister is hosting as usual, and I'm super excited because she's the best cook ever! My mom is in a healthy place so I'm looking forward to no family drama! DH will be post call and joining us so I'm grateful for that, hopefully he won't be too tired. No IL's here either, we invited them to my sisters house but they declined. Oh well!

Off to go make my annual green bean casserole!

                Happy Thanksgiving!

Dh is home, we are all in a good mood & being productive around the house. A trip to a park is probably on the schedule & I'll be making the Apple crisp in a bit & the lasagna later on.

Happy T-Day! Amy and the kids came over for brunch, and Oliver and I made waffles. We then went to the local park and played for awhile. They just left and are going to her in-laws for dinner. DH and I are headed to the hospital to make rounds. I won't stay as late as he will, but plan to come home and have a small Turkey dinner late tonight. I too am very thankful for this group.

Happy Thanksgiving!!! Veggies are ready. Desserts are baked. Everyone is clean. We should probably head to mom's soon before the 4 year old stops being clean. LOL

Happy Thanksgiving! DrK is on call and only one resident took us up on our open house offer. K2 has a fever and refuses to be put down. K1 has been chasing me around with his wagon and tearing up the house. K1 bit K2. K2 retaliated for the first time ever by pulling K1's hair. I keep reminding myself that I'm grateful for the chaos.

Made a turkey with Pioneer Woman's brine and it turned out really yummy! Unfortunately I had my dad help me and a little bit of stupidity on both of our parts resulted in brine soaking my parents new gas stove...it was broken for awhile but my dad managed to fix it

Other than that, no mishaps and my in laws made it up here fine. We're all stuffed and the annual my family vs his family football game starts soon...and I have a rock solid excuse to not play!!!

Here's to hoping the turkey induces labor...heehe
