Free $25 Starbucks Giftcard (not spam, I swear!)

Someone in DH's class sent out an email about this and it works!

Download Starbuck's Magic Cup app on your iPhone/Android and go the the "Experience" section. Then you have to scan the 5 Starbucks Holiday characters. When you scan all 5 you get a link to redeem a gift--it's a $25 gift card.

I went to an actual Starbucks store and a very nice Barista hooked me up with 2 of the characters I was missing on the cups, but I used DH's phone and found all the images online to scan and it worked to. Took me awhile, though. So $50 in Starbucks for us!

Apparently they didn't even tell the baristas about it--the one I talked to had no idea but wanted the name of the app for himself Apparently it has been working off and on, but it's worth trying!

After you provide your email, they send you a barcode that they can scan in the store and they'll transfer it directly to a real giftcard.

I think I got hacked. Some random nursing school apps appeared on my phone. I deleted them and now I can't login to apple. And their password reset doesn't work. laaaaaaaame

How long is this going on for? I MUST get this. Haha I need help.

Just did it this morning. The peeps at our nearest Starbucks even helped me find all 5 of the characters. A link to a $25 gift card is sitting in my inbox.

I was only able to get the skater and the squirrel online... I can't seem to get the other two to scan?

I think it is cup of magic. Marissa...check out the links Cassy posted on my Facebook wall for the rest of the characters. Scanning is finicky no matter what.

Not sure how long it lasts. Up to the SBUX gods I suppose . Supposedly it has been working off and on

The carolers are the only one that is hard to find. Do a google image search for "Starbucks 2011 carolers," and you'll find them. You don't need a great image, and actually only need to have one of the three figures in full view before it's accepted.
