If so, I am the lamest person in the world. I would much rather a game night in than dealing with a crowded over priced bar. The final verdict with our plans: We are picking up Thai on the way to our friends where we will eat, play games and watch movies until midnight. We have a bottle of sparkling wine that was giving to us by our friends from Brazil that we are going to crack open finally. The DH of the other couple is going out after but the DW has early work so is making it an early night. Its good for me!

Meeting friends for dinner then going to another friend's party because I don't want to hurt her feelings by not showing up. However, I plan on being home by 10:30. Hate new years. My least favorite holiday... especially do not like being out on the roads.
Finally - we are finished with training! Hello real world!!

There's a reason that my best friend calls NYE "amateur night". It's when all the crazies come out.

I've never had a good NYE. It's either been way boring, way expensive, or WAY not worth it (those two were in high school...we got in big trouble...totally not worth it).

Same here. I'm making brownies and we're staying home.

                  Husband's working(surprise!). I'm nit-combing my two daughters and myself.

On the plus side, I gave myself permission to drive through McDonald's instead of cooking dinner.

Cleaning up toddler puke and hanging w/my super-clingy, sick toddler & exhausted hubby. Romantic, huh? Good times at my house.

Absolutely nothing, thank goodness. DH and I too loathe NYE and we will be in bed by 10 probably. Honestly, I don't get all the NYE hoopla...just an excuse for people to drink and act stupid. SO glad DH isn't on call; now I don't have to worry about him being out on the roads with all the crazies.

Dh is on call and ENT is covering trauma this month. So he will be busy. He's already been called back in 4 times today for random stuff-- and the binge drinking and drunk driving accidents and bar fights haven't even started.

I told him to just stay there lol but he's coming home.

I'm gonna have some Irish whiskey and hopefully get to bed by 11.

Dd15 is going to a low key thing with 2 friends. No big party.

Aloha from paradise! And the other side of training!

Staying home with the kiddos and hubby. Frozen pizza for dinner (not the cheapie ones). Popcorn, ice cream, boardgames, movies.
