  • Good old fashioned how it used to be medicine

Just wondering if any of you have ever heard of this before or have it in your area. A health clinic just opened up here in Oregon and they base their pay on a monthly membership fee like a gym. I've never seen this model before myself. The link below has the story.

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I'll meet you there.

Yep - this is the model of concierge medicine. DH and I have been looking for it here, but can't find it. I'd really like to switch to concierge with a major medical plan to cover any hospitalizations, etc. It's crazy what we pay in premiums for the coverage we receive. And, I'm so tired of people assuming that docs either have great coverage or get free care.

We use concierge care and love it! We'll never go back.

I know, I'd noticed that she's been MIA too!

We'd love to switch to concierge too but haven't found anything in our area that would work for us.
