    I mean, it's not a bad sign, but it also doesn't mean anything past the fact that you are on their radar of "acceptable."

        In some programs, it means NOTHING when a PD, CEO, etc. calls or emails interviewees personally. It's a nice touch, but it doesn't mean squat.

          And even in attendinghood, when letters of intent start coming in/you are interviewing, it is best to keep this in mind as well.
