I'm so glad to finally be back online--Isabel wiped out our power for 5 days, and there was no ice or fuel to be found! Plus, we were on a boil water order, too. I am from KS so I have gone through bad storms, but never any that have been so devastating. Then a couple days later, a tornado ripped through Richmond and destroyed several homes. I just feel so fortunate that we made it out unscathed. DH works with several people who had 100 year old trees fall on their homes and deem them unlivable/unsafe since the trees left gaping holes in living rooms, etc! Anyhow, it's just good to have power again. It's so easy to take things for granted, and amazing what a "reminder" like this will do to make one count her blessings. Hope everybody is doing ok!
