  • Yeah! It's back!

I was suffering from withdrawal Kris! It all sounds very complicated but thank you for doing whatever you did to restore the site for now! I'm still trying to figure out where you find the time to take care of all of us
    Awake is the new sleep!

I totally agree, I think I was suffering from some form of withdrawal as well ... thanks for putting us back online! (Yikes, just hearing about "upgrading servers" makes my head spin! 8O)

waaaaah. It has been sooo frustrating! Ron and I tried every trick we knew. The worst part is that the entire database transfer went without any real problems...and you could see all of the users, posts, text, etc in the database....but you couldn't logon to the forums or see any of the posts.

Yesterday, Ron worked all day and so I came home after Alex finished preschool to try and fix things and spent all day trying...which caused my dh to banish me from the computer at night. To make matters worse, somehow in the process I actually deleted database tables that we couldn't get back and it shut down the old website. Can anyone say PROZAC? That's why we're behind a few days...the server reloaded their last backup which was the 27th. It was just awful. I really missed you guys!!!! I feel like I haven't talked to anyone in weeks...isn't that funny? It was just a couple of days.

In any case...we'll not transfer again until we have it all worked out. Hopefully no one will notice when we transfer next time.....if the same thing happens, I may be in a rubber room somewhere in MN.
