They just mentioned it really briefly on the radio, so I don't know details. But that'd sure do a lot for redeveloping that campus.Julia - legislative process lover and general government nerd, married to a PICU & Medical Ethics attending, raising a toddler son and expecting a baby daughter Oct '16.

Article on Whole Foods picking locations on the upswing.
Construction is partially completed on Columbia's first WF. We don't shop there (even when we lived a block from one in Evanston!) but if it brings us a Trader Joe's I may wet myself with joy. Also it's apparently good news for your property values, Ladybug, and further evidence that the housing market here has bottomed and we need to bite the bullet and buy if we're staying. Huh, look at that! Moving into the old Blockbuster, google says. TJ's was already a short drive from Evanston, let's spread the wealth around a bit, fellas! (Just kidding, I understand.)Married to a hematopathologist seven years out of training.

Whole Foods, Wegmans, and Trader Joes are all within one square mile of one another here. I drive right past them every day!!! Target, Lowes and Home Depot also in the same area.Luanne

God I never realized how lucky I was to have 4 Whole Foods within 20 minutes or less from me in NC, and two here in VA. Same with TJs, only there's just one in my hometown area in NC and one here in VA...I shouldn't take them for granted, it sounds like! I would be sooo sad to leave them...especially since I just discovered that we actually *can* afford things from Whole Foods, just not *everything*.Wife, support system, and partner-in-crime to PGY-3 (IM) and spoiler of our 11 y/o yellow lab

Since we moved we now have a Whole Foods and a TJs within 10 minutes again, but I have to admit, the one (and ONLY) thing I miss about our previous location is the Wegmans. That place is awesome. Giant "Iggle" just doesn't cut it.Wife of PGY-4 (of 6), cat herder, and mom to a sassy-pants four-nager.

We really miss Harris Teeter here in VA. It's where we did all our shopping in the triangle. We were lucky to have our neighborhood HT have great meats, produce, salad bar, etc. Here the chains are limited to food lion (yuk), Kroger (meh), and Martins, which sucks. Hoping a Publix makes its way this far north but I'm not holding out. I've heard good things about Publix!Wife, support system, and partner-in-crime to PGY-3 (IM) and spoiler of our 11 y/o yellow lab
