Does it mean people perceive me the most as a judgmental person? If so I'm not sure that's such a good thing with being an introvert.

Judging (J)
I use my decision-making (Judging) preference (whether it is Thinking or Feeling) in my outer life. To others, I seem to prefer a planned or orderly way of life, like to have things settled and organized, feel more comfortable when decisions are made, and like to bring life under control as much as possible.
Since this pair only describes what I prefer in the outer world, I may, inside, feel flexible and open to new information (which I am).
Do not confuse Judging with judgmental, in its negative sense about people and events. They are not related.
The following statements generally apply to me:
- I like to have things decided.
- I appear to be task oriented.
- I like to make lists of things to do.
- I like to get my work done before playing.
- I plan work to avoid rushing just before a deadline.
- Sometimes I focus so much on the goal that I miss new information.
Married to a hematopathologist seven years out of training.
Raising three girls, 11, 9, and 2.

Oh thank you so much! That explains it very well for me and describes me rather perfectly. I went ahead and took the test again this time quickly, without thinking about it, and just selecting the first answer that felt natural to me. I'm still an INTJ but the scores changed a little. Judging still remained the same.

Recently, I've been thinking a lot about this and how it relates to my immediate family. My husband and daughter's "I" kill me sometimes. It is hard for me to step back and understand that they just don't need to be as social as my oldest and me. I try to respect it, but sometimes it baffles me.In my dreams I run with the Kenyans.

I finally finished the test for a photography class and I'm INFJ. I totally own the introvert aspect. It's become much more evident with age. By the time I die it will be in a cave....in Montana. I've become more feeling with age too, but only as experience has taught me to trust myself. Trusting myself does not come easily. Im plagued with self doubt. its a childhood wound, and there is a constant battle in my heart and mind.
I'm not sure if it told me anything new about myself, but its reassuring to read the mismatched list of characteristics and know other people navigate them too. I always feel I'm a totally confusing contradiction. Maybe that explains the "rarity" factor of my personality type although it seems to be more prevelant in medical spouse cultures. lOL. There is way over 1% INFJs posting here.-Ladybug
