  • oh yes I did

I am such an idiot. I decided to color my hair myself. That part went fine... so I decided to try to add auburn highlights myself. Yes there is a reason that people go to cosmetology school. I look terrible!!! I didn't you foil and carefully brushed coler onto strands of my hair. It turned bright red and bled everywhere. I might take pictures to give you a good laugh. Boo hoo.

This is why I am so afraid of doing it myself. Sorry! Can you get it fixed easily?

I think it can be fixed. I made an appointment. I usually color my hair I have never done highliting. I dont eat that has special little brush to add blonde highlights. I got the auburn separately and thought I could use it interchangeably. I was wrong.

We all get to be wrong sometimes. I usually take my turn a lot more than others. Where is the picture you promised

Aww, hugs! I had to have my mom (a barber) fix something a stylist had done, so it can go wrong on their end, too. I hope it's an easy fix!

Oh boy... Red is hard. U could try and do a semi permanent neutral all over one shade lighter than u have now. That may help get rid of the red without depositing more color.

Reds and blacks r the hardest to correct. It can be done but it can take time and money.

That is what the lady behind me at ikea Suggested peggy.

Crap. Maybe I could go a little darker brown and it would cover it better. When I get home I'm posting pictures in the call room.

I can only imagine. This is crazy red too. I had 3 people voting on what to do with my hair before I paid. The 1 lady said go red anything is acceptable nowadays. I told her I have 5 kids. She said I could be hippie dippie mama. I told her I already am without red hair. Lol.
