I was finally able to get the upgrade done. For whatever reason, it got stuck right at the beginning because the server timed out. I went straight to vbulletin as to no screw it up, and they blamed it on our web host. Our web host told me that the database was "just too massive" and that I needed to reinstall my back-up, etc. I tried accessing the site on my computer and couldn't. Funny thing? I could access it from my cellphone! I ended up finishing the upgrade from my cell phone without having to upload all of the files from the backup (Thank God, because that would have been a nightmare.)
So, there are a bunch of new things and I don't know how to use all of them yet. I imagine we admins will be exploring quite a bit over the next few days.
There is a new mobile option right now. You don't need to buy anything or ... do anything to get it to work. Just visit the site from your phone and it will be there. This will probably be the formal end of any updating that I will do with TapaTalk depending on how the software continues to develop.
We also have our own user walls now. If you click on your profile you will see a tab that says "User Wall" (or something similar). You can post updates to your wall in the side block, and others can respond to you ... it's kind of cool. Still...this is in the figuring out stages, so ... have at it and then report errors to any admin!
