    Kris,
I hope that the new European one is like the 70's VW bus -- sort of like the VW bug revival they have done.
So, I'm, uh, a little nuts about this and have been looking at the German VW website (even though I can't read any of it). They show a "MultiVan" that looks kind of like the EuroVan and not as much like the Microbus concept car.
    *sigh*
    I'll continue the dream!

      Kris,
Please check your owners manual about placing the car seats. I am not an expert, but I have had 5 years experience in car seat fittings and car seats are not designed to be used on the seat that face the rear (at least none that I know of). I could be wrong, but double check so that your precious babies are safe!

      Cool van!!!

      Take Care,

Thanks for the advice. I checked and it does say not to use infants/toddlers car seats in the rear-facing seats. I've got all three car seats in the forward-facing seats now...and they're all properly secured. My almost 9 year old is sitting facing the back though...He is too big for a booster though and hasn't used one in about 1/2 a year.

What a stress.....these are things we definately did not anticipate.

Thank you for the heads up and tip to hit the manual. I was indeed letting my daughter sit facing the rear in her car seat....your advice was worth its weight in gold!
