    Missing Teen

    I just want to post this anywhere I can just in case it happens to be something that helps.

    There is a link. This is a teenager who is missing on the north side of Indy. Last seen last night around 8. He has PWS which causes him to eat uncontrollably and is also autistic. If you know of anyone in the area who could help or if you are in this area the Urban Search and Rescue team are stationed at Marsh on 79th and Oaklandon Rd.

    Is he verbal? I had a fear that he was non verbal & therefore not able to call out. I have been so worried ever since this AM, when you 1st posted on FB? My bestfriend, Shannon, lives in that area. She & her son were right next door to the Subway @ the time he was there. I am sure it's dark there now. Have they sent folks to the lake.
    It's so cold and he only had sweats, T-shirt & jacket. She said her eldest(she's a freshman) came home & said it was all over instagram...I am hoping a lot of the teens went out to help in the search!
    What a nightmare.

        They found an abandoned van with 4 empty pizza boxes in it with his name on them. They also found his shoes and socks in the woods behind that marsh. They are worried about the cold, and also that he will eat until his stomach ruptures. My heart is breaking for his family.
        I think that he is verbal, but I'm worried that because of the insatiable hunger, along with the autism, that he might not be responding to the rescuers. I'm not sure though. I am sick for this family. I can't imagine what they are going through. And it is really really cold and rainy and yucky.
        I don't think they have looked at the lake yet, but I'm not sure. I think that they should definitely get there though. Last I heard they were stopping the search for the night and starting again first thing in the morning.

              Ugh thank goodness! I was thinking about him all day! So happy to hear he is home and safe!
