My wife and I were just saying that it seems like we had more time and money when she was in residency
The most time we had was when she was in school.

She gets her schedule 3 months out.
I highlighted in green every weekend that we had together.
There were 5 in three months

In residency we lived in the corn fields so there was no mortgage.
We also were not paying down the loans

We may ectually have more money, but the expectation was that money problems would end when residency ended.

You're not alone. I'm one if the ones past 100. Sucks I can't access the residency one aka colonoscopy. With me though, my situation is different so you might get there first :/
