  • How do you find a new hairstyle?

I would love to do something different with my hair. I am really not creative and just have no idea what to do. I like the person who cuts my hair a lot, but she's much more the type to do exactly what I say than to suggest things.

Any good websites to browse or fiddle with? Other ideas? Help!

    I browse Pinterst for ideas.

As someone who has not changed her hairstyle except for length since her first pregnancy...I urge you to WAIT. Or make a tiny change. I'm still traumatized by the "cute haircut" I wanted and the Martha Stewart helmet head I received. But yeah, pinterest has great ideas.

Not that I ever end up going through with it but I use Pintrest for ideas. For fun I use those online generators to see what I would look like by mixing my own pic with a celeb hairstyle. http://makeovr.com/hairmixer/
Still long and blond here but I secretly dream of going back to brunette. Good luck!

Confession: not on pinterest. Is there a way to browse without joining?

And BonBon, the backup plan is to just let it get longer and pull it into a ponytail every day.

A lot of times, if you google things, various pins will pop up. You should be able to...

I look at fashion magazines then ask how to make something more accessible for me...so not a hair person, it's embarrassing.

I usually end up with a hairstyle that was worn by Reese Witherspoon - don't know why, but that's whose hair I gravitate towards

Okay this coming from a part time stylist that has been drinking since noon ( hello vacay)

1- why do u want to change your hair? What r u really wanting to change? Everyone has a reason for why the want to change hair styles

2- do u want to spend time on a new hair style. Most no one can get a new haircut and not have to spend time working with it. Either it is new textures ur not use to or there will be a new way is styling it.

3- does ur currently hair style work for u. If yea. Then don't change it. Sure we all want to try new things but if it work, then go with it. Look an Jennifer Anniston (not sure how to spell it) her hair has pretty much stayed the same with minor variation to keep up to date. But it works so she keeps it.

I'm impressed I warranted a response from your vacation! Get back to the beach!

I want something that's less work. Ideally I want something that's no work. Right now I have these bits in front that have to be blow dried and straightened, even if I pull the rest back into a ponytail, because they curl up and look ridiculous. I'm going to have a baby in two months and would love to find something that I could comb after I shower and be done with it. Yeah, right, right?

Honestly, I would go with go with a headband/ponytail. You're going to be spending a lot of time looking at the baby - who is going to be on your lap. Your tolerance for hair falling in your face is going to be pretty low I actually did my hair more often with a newborn than I do now - I would put her in her cradle on the floor of the bathroom.

I also had a very bad pregnancy haircut experience. The tequila bottles in the salon should have been a clue
