What about Sprint? It's headquarters are here which could explain why most ppl have it in these parts. Anyone have experience with their unlimited plans?

SJ they don't have the best coverage around here though (funny right?), Verizon does.

Seriously? Verizon has crap for coverage in DH's hospital, so everyone we've talked to has Sprint. Can't win I guess.

Funny because I have friends who used to work for Sprint that had crappy coverage! DH's hospital is fine with Verizon, no idea about Sprint. If that is what is best at his hospital it's probably fine.

Kris, contact T-Mobile and tell them that you're not getting reception at homeā€¦ Most companies will put a booster in your home for free so that you are able to use it in your home with more reliability.

If your data charges are high, check the setting on your phone that says "connect to open networks when available". This is a default setting on an iPhone. On the good side it will use open wifi instead of using your phones data plan. Data usage on wifi does not count against your plan.

Just remember not to do any banking on an open network. Also, facebook does not use encryption.
