Unfortunately for psychiatrists, this sentiment does not extend equally to everyone in the medical profession. Only 6% of women and 10% men said they would most like to date a shrink, perhaps fearing that dinner and a movie might feel more like a few hours on Sigmund Freud’s couch.

As the only psych spouse here, I've got to LOL at this one. Especially because my aspiring surgeon switched to psych when he decided that he wanted a more family friendly specialty.

The single surgeons don't have time for that website.

I love my SO dearly, more than anything, and I admire that he's been able to endure on this tough road...but is it horrible that I have this secret wish he'd quit and become a park ranger?

This, plus slicing people open is more "badass" than writing a prescription or reading films, so money + badassedness = more attractive.

Actually I think the most physically attractive MDs that I've known averaged over an entire specialty are the EM docs.

Many times I've had people tell me what egotistical self centered bastards doctors are.

My response is; "Ohhh, your talking about Surgeons, not all doctors"

Hmmm I can think of at least 50 off the top of my head that would debunk that theory.
